A Fun Evening That Supports a Serious Cause
#Moonlight2024 | #cvcgala2024
We have seen our community come together in so many wonderful ways over the last few years to support neighbors, friends, and even strangers through the collective trauma of a pandemic. At the same time, our team has had the solemn privilege to walk alongside people experiencing compounded trauma as victims of abuse, domestic violence, violent crime, sexual assault, human trafficking, and other life altering traumas. As Erie County’s only comprehensive Crime Victim Service Center, our top priority is providing the highest quality; clinically and culturally appropriate victim-centered care, crisis and supportive counseling, trauma-informed therapy, medical and legal accompaniment and advocacy support to victims and survivors. However, it is not something we can do alone.
For the last 50 years, donations made to Crime Victim Center of Erie County have directly impacted victims of crime and trauma in Erie County. With the increase in violence in our community over the last year, our service utilization has increased exponentially.
The strong support of generous sponsors and donors like you, allows us to continue important services such as 24-hour crisis intervention, advocacy, and education to thousands of victims and the professionals who serve our community.
