RULES

  • Each team is comprised of (2) players. A “Cornhole” is counted as 3 points and a bag on the board is counted as 1 point. After each round, the NET points are counted towards the score. For example, team A has 2 Cornholes for 6 POINTS and 1 Bag on the Board for 1 POINT for a total of 7 POINTS. Team B has 1 Cornhole for 3 POINTS and no bags on the board; Team A wins 4 POINTS for that round.
  • Rounds are played until 21 points are scored or until the time limit expires, whichever comes first. There will be a 15-minute time limit on each game in the first 8 rounds. Whichever team is winning at the end of the round is the winner of that round.
  • If teams are in a tie at the end of the round, a sudden death, toss-off tie breaker will be played.
  • This is a double elimination tournament. Every team is guaranteed two games.
  • For each round, the winning team is responsible for reporting the score.
  • Any team not at their court at the start of the round forfeits that game.
  • The winner of the first section (played at noon) will play the winner of the second section (played at4 p.m.) to determine the ultimate tournament winner. If the winning team from the first section (noon) does not return, the winner of the second section (4 p.m.) wins the tournament.
  • Players must play with the bags provided. Players may not bring their own Cornhole bags.
  • The team that wins the tournament will receive $200 cash; Runner-Up team will receive $100 cash
